Permanent & irreversible

Delete your Pakto account

You can permanently delete your Pakto account and its associated data at any time. This applies to Pakto — the iOS app, the Android app, and gopakto.com — operated by the independent developer behind Pakto. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — in the app (fastest)

  1. 1Open the Pakto app and sign in.
  2. 2Go to Profile → Settings.
  3. 3Tap Delete account.
  4. 4Confirm. Your account and data are removed right away and every device is signed out.

Option 2 — by email (no app needed)

If you can't access the app or have already uninstalled it, email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you:

support@gopakto.com

Use the subject line Delete my account and send it from the email you signed up with, so we can verify the request. We action verified requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile — name, username, email, avatar, bio, and links
  • Your password and your Apple / Google sign-in links
  • Every Pact you own, plus its Journeys, days, and check-ins (photos, videos, notes)
  • Your votes, and the Grain / wallet history tied to your Pacts
  • All active sessions — every device is signed out immediately

What is kept, and why

  • Circles you created stay, but become ownerless

    So other members keep their own Journeys and history. Your name no longer appears as owner.

  • Payment & subscription receipts — kept ~7 years

    Required to meet tax and accounting obligations. Purchases are processed by Apple / Google, not stored as card data by us.

  • Log & crash diagnostics — kept up to 90 days

    Security and abuse-prevention, then automatically purged.

Retention

When you delete your account we erase your identifiable data and content within 30 days. Some records are kept longer only where the law requires it — payment and subscription receipts for up to 7 years (tax), and diagnostic logs for up to 90 days. Deleted data also clears from encrypted backups within a rolling 35-day window.
