What is Pakto?
Pakto is a commitment platform. You make one specific promise, called a Pact, that runs for a fixed number of Days. Each Day you check in with a photo, a video or a short note. When you keep the final Day, the Journey is sealed and becomes part of your Legacy — a permanent record of the promises you kept.
How is Pakto different from a habit tracker?
A habit tracker counts streaks across many recurring habits and resets when you slip. Pakto focuses on one promise at a time, asks for evidence each Day, and keeps a dated, permanent record of whether you kept it. There are no badges, points or infinite feeds.
What happens if I miss a Day?
If a required Day passes without a Check-in, the Journey breaks. A broken Journey stays on the record, just like a completed one. That honesty is what makes a kept Pact mean something.
Is Pakto free?
Yes. The free plan includes unlimited Pacts with two active at a time, photo, video and note Check-ins, public Journey pages, and joining Circles. Pakto Pro adds unlimited active Pacts and your own Circles. Pakto Business is for companies and schools.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Pakto is available on iPhone from the App Store and on Android from Google Play, and on the web at gopakto.com. Your Pacts and Journeys are the same everywhere.
Who can see my Pacts?
A private Pact is visible only to you. A public Pact gets a Journey page that anyone with the link can see, and that you can share. You choose when you sign the Pact.
What is Grain?
Grain is Pakto’s in-app unit. You can stake it on a Pact and get it back when you finish, use it in Circles, or cheer on someone else’s public Pact. Grain never buys Trust or reputation, and it has no cash value.
Can I use Pakto with a team or a class?
Yes. Circles let friends, families and communities run Pacts together. Pakto Business gives companies and schools an Organization with teams, shared seats and aggregate-only reporting that never shows individual records.
